Sam Kimbrell is a writer, director, performer, and creative strategist who loves old-timey characters, robots, talking inanimate objects, and the sound of dogs eating dry food. He holds a degree in screenwriting from Chapman University and studied improv and sketch at Second City, iO West, and UCB. He’s created scripts, comedy blogs, live shows, jokes, and videos for Crackle, Cartoon Network, Top Story! Weekly, Second City, iO, WAVE Sports, El Rey Network, Jukin Media, Crypto.com, and Reader’s Digest.

His films, “Vance and the Afterlife” and “Fred the Super Computer” have screened globally in Los Angeles, Seattle, New Jersey, Indianapolis, Sedona, Wichita, Tampa, Portugal, Greece, and Sweden.

As a performer, Sam has played Ralph Sargent in Ken Ludwig’s The Gods of Comedy and Second City Hollywood’s production of That’s The End of Our Time. He also was a finalist at the Just for Laughs festival’s Stand Up and Pitch competition

When he’s not creating, he’s usually walking his dog, Harold, and listening to him eating the driest of kibble.
